She sits alone with herself
Wondering where her prince could be
She dreams of love never-ending
Wishing on stars endless beauty

Believing his prayers will come
 
As people shuffle out;
She trips,
Caught by the prince sent from above
His prayers answered
Her wishes granted
Their dreams never end;
In love

Miserable
 
Miserable old sap, she is
Can't do anything right
Pathetic soul
Gonna die an old maid
Alone
A cold lonely heart
Cold as ice
Hard as rock
Not a friend in the world
Trapped and fooled
Lied to
Deceived thinking it was love
Heart of stone
In am empty shell
Slowly decaying

No One Knows
 
As I sit with this person
I often wonder;
How did she become so aloof?
Why so tranquil?
Who she really is?
Day after day the same routine
Day after day the same depressing face
She aches for self-acceptance
Unspoken misery lives within
The terror she feels
 
It is I
It is I that no one knows
It is I that does not feel
This silent illness
Stricken with grief, suffering and torture
Anger fills my emotions
Despair weakens my soul
It is I that NO ONE KNOWS!

Heaven and Hell
A Bipolar's Point of View
 
She slips silently into her elysium
White fluffy clouds with tints of blue and rose surround
Her emotions float freely
She becomes untouchable in the silky air
Cloud-nine embodies her euphoric time sense
 
Abruptly she plunges to the bottom
Fenced in by every emotion
Trapped and helpless, she reaches
Dim but seeping through
Edging toward the top
She struggles not to be stopped

My Love
 
A comforting love fills the air as your warm and tender hands intertwine with mine
When I look into you eyes,
I see a future full of love and happiness
The world and all it's complexities disappear when I'm wrapped tightly in your possessive protectiveness
You are the roof that shields me from life's storms.
You safeguard my emotions
Your strength eases my insecurtities, and
Your quirky smile tells me everything will be all right.
 
The way you look at me,
It drives me crazy
A soft glow of purity and innocence hangs overhead
My mind perceives nothing
Making love to you puts my soul at rest
Your passion-driven hunger feeds the fire
Intense waves of lustful emotions explode
I quietly whisper, "I love you".
 
Being loved by you feels like a walk in the clouds;
I'm free to be me.
You make me believe I can be anything,
Accomplish anything.
 
I need to tell you, my love...
I can't promise you a year.
I can't promise you a month.
I can't even promise you tomorrow.
But I can promise, I will love you the rest of our life.

Paradise
 
Soft golden rays embellish the ocean waters
A euphoric sense engulfs the milieu with an arcane solitude
Crystal blue waves wash the white sandy beaches
God's eyes descend with sparkles in the midnight celestial
The crescent moon accents the Supreme Being with its luminescent beauty
This paragon is all consuming to the soul
 
Mortal whereabouts are unknow for Heaven's light shines early in the morn
No apprehension, no tribulation, no calamity
Such tranquility, such serenity, such peacefulness is what keeps me coming back
 
Stillness and a gentle summer's eve breeze flow through my sun-bleached hair
The sound of crashing waves that tides make as they sweep the shorline catches my acoustics
My bottom limbs feel the cooling wetness as my ever-beating heart amicably responds to;

A Raw Soul
 
As the arctic air fills the atmosphere;
Her sense of frigidness is crystal clear
Her heart frozen solid
Her emotions chilled to the bone
She questions her very existence
 
As she stares out the window in a time warp;
Polar waves ripple in her mind
She astonishes at where in life she is
Her bleak children nowhere to be found;
As wintry snow falls to the ground
 
One last time she looks up to the mystical starlit moon
One wish for her and one wish for them
She lives life embracing her every memory
Sharp is the knife that cut her dreams
Glassy crystal that shattered her world
 
Emotions of anger nip at her soul
Chipping away, one day at a time.

Lost in confusion
Wanting to love
Wanting to be loved
State of mind befuddled
Concentration disrupted
Comprehension clouded
Confused by love
 
Running fast and going nowhere
Things to do
Accomplishments to be had
Achievements desired
Life is a struggle, when you're confused by love
 
Holding back emotions
Fighting for sanity
Trapped in uncertainty
Trying to understand why, I'm so confused about love

I never knew you
But somehow, I was where I belonged
I felt your sincere touch
I felt the rapid beating of your heart
I felt the heavenly grasp in your arms
 
That first night I was taken
The angels had spoken,
"He is here now."
 
Taken by the heavenly grasp of your arms,
The rapid beating of your heart, and
Your sincere and meaningful touch
I knew
I knew I was where I belonged
 
My prayers were answered and
My wishes granted
The stars never shinned so brightly
The angels never serenaded so sweetly
I was embracing the man God made just for me!
